To me, it’s always an honor to be invited anywhere. Picture this, you accept this particular invitation (via a crack-of-dawn Facebook message from Eliot Lewis) and it turns out to be far more than you could have ever imagined. That was the case when I was asked to join the most successful duo in the history of music, Daryl Hall and John Oates. Since joining in 2012, it’s been one highlight after another. From touring the world with a first class organization, to becoming a regular on “Live From Daryl’s House” television show, walk on live performances with each member of the band and working with a who’s who in popular music. Recording great new music. Meeting some of my favorite sport stars. ESPN invites. Hall of Fame induction and HBO telecast, to playing the Governors Ball in the White House.

With them, it seems around every corner something cool is waiting. It would be a drastic understatement to say I’m enjoying my time with the guys. I often tell people, the band (Charlie DeChante, Brian Dunne, Klyde Jones, Eliot Lewis, Shane Theriot and ex. bandmate, Paul Pesco) can be away from each other for months on end, come to a soundcheck, and it’s like flipping a switch to greatness. Each guy can play his behind off! And as everyone knows, the song list is second to none! Top it off with a production team at-the-ready to make it all happen. Any person who plays music would instantly RSVP, as I did. I want to thank Daryl and John many times over for having me. I’m having a blast!
